from what ive been told coach miller will return next season.

 

That's all well and good. I wish Coach Miller only happiness and goodness. He is in a class of his own - curious though. Why was the Cleveland coaching position advertised on themat.com?

 

That is a nationwide website.

 

Let's hope this great coach comes back for another season. He makes his wrestlers great, and, other coaches worry.

im not too sure. im guessing he would like to have the possible head coach replacement there for a little before he lets it go i guess?

I would like to see the person who takes over for him get a chance to work under him. Having to take over a program that has such a successful coach in place for so long will be a ruff road, all the expectations and such. Not to mention the $$$$ pushing for the Coach that is desired by the $$$$.

First I would like to wish Coach Miller and the Cleveland wrestling program much success. However, those of you that want for the next head wrestling coach at Cleveland High School to work under Coach Miller are wrong. If you hire the correct person they will not need any help in running the team. Yes they will make some mistakes like Coach Miller and all of us have but what they don't need is someone looking over their shoulder and for the alumni to be saying that Coach Miller would do it a different way. Have you ever considered going to Penn State, OK State, Lehigh, etc... and hiring someone that has been a graduate assistant or assistant coach for a few years. Many times good high school positions pay more than college assistant coaches and for sure more than graduate assistants.

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.

      Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.

      I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.

      I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
