That can happen when you have two starters out.

 

Now you know what can happen when we have all 5 starters in a game.

Is that suppose to be an excuse? RBS was without there leading scorer! :D

 

Once again, its over Congrats to Forrest on winning when it counted! :D

 

Hope you guys get back to the Boro to play RBS next year!! ;)

How does RBS deserve to be there when they got beat by Forrest the other day when it counted. If they deserved to be there they would.

RBS doesn't deserve to be there...your right...they lost when it counted...they let the nerves get the best of them, and RBS played worse than i've seen them play all season, and from what i've heard on here Forrest played about as good as they can...Talent wise from what I saw RBS is the better team, but they wasn't on that night...RBS loses only one senior next year and I can almost garauntee they'll be back among the mix, but they were young this year and made some youthful mistakes...Next year when they play they will have had an experience in the buro and know what to expect and WILL come out top...Mark it down...

 

You will see that after tonight the only team in that was in the state tournament to give JC a game and come closest to beat them was RBS...but there is nothing we can do about that now...

rbs is a great team but JC is an awesome team!!!!!we will give forrest the silver ball at the right time RBS deserves to be there over forrest

 

I do not have a dog in this fight but how can you figure RBS deserves to be there more than Forrest? Didn't they play? YES! Who WON? Just because some from D7 think they are gods does not mean they are entitled to everything or anything. If the real team from D7, Jackson County, wins today, they will win because they earned the right to be there and earned the win. Only 2 teams did what they had to do. Those are Forrest and Jackson County.

 

And this is coming from someone who has pulled for RBS all year and have defended RBS time and time again in debates with JC fans. RBS is good, but JC and Forrest are better.

 

Bottom line, Jackson County and Forrest got it done!!! :rolleyes: I know JC fans do not see it this way, however, even if they lose today, they have had a great season. Same with Forrest. Both teams can be proud. I wish my team was there to even compete today. We are sitting home. Good luck to both. :lol:

RBS got caught looking ahead :rolleyes: and here's hoping that the Gold Ball's shining light gleams in JC eyes too early also..... :lol: (and as for nerves our girls at Forrest are younger and have never played in State before, part of being a champion is playing the best you can no matter what....)

These girls hasn't ever played in the state tournament, they haven't sit on the bench in a state tournament game, none of the girls was even in kindergarten the last time we were in the state tournament...They were expected to much before they got there and it bit them on the foot...

 

Good luck to you all tonight...I'm going for JC tonight, but I wish you all the best, hope you have a safe trip and play yalls heart out...

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
