I know that Region 6 has never been a big player at the state tournament, but I think the strongest teams to come out of Metro/Williamson County will be Brentwood, Hillsboro, McGavock, Antioch, and Glencliff.

Of those, I think Brentwood has the best chance to make it to state. They have a good young nucleus and will get a couple of solid players next year who were ineligble this year. McGavock may have the best player in the state, but I don't know who they have back or if they will be healthy.

UMMMM powell isnt losing one senior I believe they are losing Alana Michael, kayla Mitchell, and Carley rhyne, if im not mistaken

That is going to be a huge blow to loose three starts granted Hollifield, gabbard are the returning starts i think they will be okay with some of the freshman we have

Powell is only losing one senior, Michael. Mitchell left the team right after the region tournament and Rhyne is only a junior this year. They will be shootin for the boro again next year with 4 of 5 starters back

Who are the two players for Brentwood?

Shelbyville only loses 3 seniors Armstrong, A Johnson, and Trice plus have an 8th grade class coming up of Graves, Martin, and Scott that has only lost about 3 games in the last two years

You are correct BUT Their are three spots open and about 12 players coming in as Freshman. So if you looked at that bench it was full. So making the team next year could be tough.

I believe they may need to sell tickets to their practices(Ha, HA) :thumb:

Three spots 12 new players going to have to work hard.

I'll say it will be a Wilson Central vs. ??? final. Maybe Cleveland?

Unless something happens in the meantime which it could, AAA will be in Middle Tennessee for the next two or three years no matter how many super players will seem to show up in the rest of the state. This proves that Basketball is a team sport and Coaches and Coaching make the difference and it still is in Middle Tennessee.
