Great job to Hixson, they are a very good team, Ooltewah has won a lot of games too, and if some of the other schools had already played this many games there would be some other great records out there. We hear alot about Hixsons wins but its just because some of the other schools are a little behind in how many they have played, I just hope Hixson doesn't burn out before they have a chance at state, I've already heard they are having a little bit of trouble, just hear say though.

They've played a lot, but they've won most of them too, and most against top level opponents. There shouldn't be any criticism at all of how they've done so far. Right now they're the team to beat in the district but there's a long way to go and most anything can happen in the district tournament.

Coach Tate decided that Hixson would not play on Sunday. We did well in the pool play. Beating Marshall County the AA state champs. The South Carolina teams were very tough also.

She compliments other teams players if they make a good play.....Last year she told our 3rd baseman that she was one of the best in the area if not state....

Hixson is very lucky to have her.....

Elimination round of the tournament was cancelled due to rain.

 

Hixson won 3 of the 4 games they played beating Creekwood, Marshall County and slpillting with 2 teams from South Carolina.
