FOOTBALL81
I think one of the best backs in 2A is sitting in Dresden. His name is Matt Hewitt and he deserves some recognition for as hard as he works. He is a punishing runner with quickness and speed. He is just a great athlete from what I have observed. I seen him when they scrimmaged Lewis Co. this spring and his legs never stopped. Has he been invited to any junior camps this summer? With Hewitt, the young quarterback, and a couple of other key players, Dresden should be in competition this year. Not to mentioned a seasoned coach. volhead
CHRIS WATSON - Bledsoe County Remember the name, very hard worker, needs a little more size. Potential to have a very good year.
coachsmith81
Do not overlook Carl Ghettis at Ezell-Harding. Was all state Ath last year. Rushed for over 1800 last year could very well break 2000 this year. Also had close to 700 receiving yards. -
kingbrian3
CHRIS WATSON - Bledsoe County Remember the name, very hard worker, needs a little more size. Potential to have a very good year. Does Bledsoe County have a standout running back by the last name of Melton? If so, what can you tell about what type of player he is. reaction
Anthony Hathaway. He was having a great season for Boyd Buc early in the season before going down very early with a ACL injury. Look for him to put up some big numbers this year and lead Boyd Buc. Shiverdecker and Donald are 2 big time backs as well.
Lions4ever
I have to throw out there Byron Boyd from Camden. This will be his year to put up the big numbers because he will be out from under big brother Josh's No 7- all time -leading rusher- in the states' enormous shadow. Any who played against him last season knows that he is a big threat either rushing or receiving. Unlike big brother Josh's power back style, Byron is more of a scat runner that can juke with the best of em. Can't wait till next season....I wonder who will be the first "victim" to be juked out of his shoes!
MrChattanoogaFootball
Tyner is getting a back from Atlanta that had over 1,200 yards last year. If he had that in Atlanta how good will he be at Tyner. He is a former player cousin. Edited March 25, 2006 by ramtrain
