and am the most loyal student fan to riverdale basketball as you can get...i've more than likely been to more riverdale basketball games in 5 years than you have been total to oakland. you claimed earlier here that your first oakland basketball game you attended this year was versus siegel (the first one), so do you like to just show up for the rivalry games or sumn? red and gold till i die but if my team gets put out, do you want me to spend my nights thinking on how the season could have turned out or going and watching another team play? im loyal to riverdale, but im also loyal to basketball in general, so i will go see another game, if we are put out.

like i said, i will never ever support oakland unless under worse case senario (if all other murfreesboro teams are put out), so im glad you dont want me as one of your fans.

Not that I have to explain myself to you, but I went to at least 12 OHS bball games this year. I do a little thing called WORK....which hindered me from attending them all. Even when they lost, I continued to support them....and that is my motto....ALWAYS A FAN.

I could care less if he, you, or any of yall support us or not. We don't need fair weather fans. We need LOYAL fans....and to me he doesn't fit that ticket.

half of the people on here are bandwagon fans or fair weather fans, only a few are LOYAL.

Yeah i think it will be an all Boro top 4 , If Oakland gets there posts to play well they will deffinetly make some noise in the state next year.

Oakland Posts-Darian's junior year was extremely rough, but he came back his senior year and proved his worth helping to lead us to a Regular Season District Title.

From my perspective Kit has had a better junior year than Darian did and if he improves as much as Darian did between the 2 years then he will def be a force inside

Siegel[/url'>Nation07' post='826002105' date='Mar 25 2006 - 08:09 PM']

The only time i remember not being nice about the team was when a player placed himself on the all district team. Besides that i havent ever been a hater.

Riley, you must be talking about me. If you went back and read what was posted, you could see that Utterback, aka Listenup, posted what he thought was the best player at each position from our district. I simply used his names, and made a generic lineup. That's placing myself on the all district team? Think not. We don't need your support this year. Stick to basketball.

Anyways, back on topic, I'd love to see Siegel compete and make a good run at the district title next season. I think Siegel will be a better "team" after it loses some of its hot heads. However, I hate to see Siegel lose the talent that the seniors had. Good luck next year Stars.

how can i not continue to support them once they were done? shoot if you want me to go follow them around and encourage them about next year, ive been doin that and will continue to do so. im always a fan also, so i dont know how you are coming to that conclusion.

i accepted the fact that they lost, got over it and looked forward to the next year. at the same time, i went out and enjoyed the rest of the post season and watched other teams, but some how im a unloyal fan for being a basketball fan in general? WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
