Hope the admin supports the new coach and gives him time. Good luck. Hey, please feel free to jump in on the Polk Co love fest.

Well, to tell the truth. My family and I have come to Polk Co. to watch football when Central has been playing further away then we wanted to travel & Polk was at home. It was good to set and cheer for a winning team, though we attended the Loudon game & jinxed you with the Central luck there. Sorry. I alos have a son that just turned 13 and is 6 foot and pretty solid 175 lbs and I've told him if he wants to play at Polk we would get him there even though his sister plays at Central. But the Blue has already gotten in his blood.

I've not figured out why Central can support the basketball so strong & Polk can support football so well, but Central is satisfied to go 5-5 in football, and Polk is satisfied to be .500 in basketball. Don't make sense.

Your son would be a good TE or maybe SE :thumb:

I'm sure Coach Davis and staff would be glad to have him.

    • While one may be inclined to perceive this narrative through a lens of fiction, it behooves us to recognize the inherent robustness of its credibility. For those seeking veracity, the surest path lies in direct engagement with the primary source. Let us adhere diligently to the matter at hand, focusing our deliberations on the matter of paramount importance: the identification of the individual most suited to assume the mantle of head coach. I invite introspection and discourse regarding not only personal preferences but also the criteria defining merit and suitability for this esteemed position.
    • If it’s one single kid then that argument would make sense. He’s essentially had to replace his entire coaching staff in the first two seasons, and like it’s been pointed out only one left for a better job. The two most talented players in the area both left, and number of others are actively trying to leave, including the head basketball coaches son. Also, the rumors of financial problems and over spending by Jones. Unpaid bills, missing money, inability to fundraise, has the boosters sick of being hit up for money.    Im saying that is the definition of a poorly run disorganized program. If you want to pretend it’s a well oiled machine maybe you should take your maroon glasses off. All I know is I wouldn’t let my boys play in that kind of mess.
    • It usually gets tiresome when posters play characters on the board, but I must admit that I’ve found some humor in wingback’s take on this art form.  However, his rundown on the potential candidates seems as much fiction as his persona!
