MTSU's New Endzone Design

as most already know, MTSU is installing a new surface (field turf) to be played on in fall 2006. athletic director chris massaro has extended the oppurtunity to vote on the endzone design for the new surface.

according to the DNJ, voting will reopen tomorrow for people to vote on the 2 finalists (2 that recieved the most votes). that will last for a week. i will repost the link when avaliable.

 

the DNJ also had a picture of the old turf being scraped up.

I voted for the white one that had Middle Tennessee and Blue Raiders wrote in the respective endzones. I think the basic "Blue Raiders" one has to go. We've got a new coach and need a whole new start. Out with the bad old design and in with the new one. When are they going to tell us which one won?

^the white-based one looks HORRIBLE. block letters? this is the 21st century lol. if that design wins they might as well just put an artificial surface from the 1800s on.
