If they are 90s they probably can't get "letters" from NCAA schools yet - only NAIA schools. Assuming the 90s are only juniors that's my understanding of the "rules."

Most are finishing their junior year...time will tell...most are siegel...along with Riverdale, Smyrna and Tullahoma...it is an awesome mix

a couple of my tullahoma girls play on that team it will help them that they have macie mayberry back healthy, kaitlin quandt(i think she is playing) will be a great defensive addition and kirsten heikkinen is a great dribbler and 1 v1 player

i think most of the team are from siegel

Yes, there's eight from siegel, four from tulahoma, two from riverdale, two from smyrna, and two from lebanon I believe. I'm pretty sure thats the split.

Most all are juniors but there are a couple who are sophomores.

FYI: link to NCAA recruiting overview chart

As the chart says, college coaches CAN correspond with juniors in high school (letters, email, text messaging, instant messaging, etc.).

Kaitlin played with them a few years ago and didn't impress many of the players. I guess she has gotten better over the past couple of years and hopefully lost her attitude.

Yes, that's one thing I have noticed with that team. The always seem to train players to be better but then they lose those players to other teams. It seems that they do all the hard work and another team gets the reward.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
