If Richland is returning what they had last year, then they should be a very competitve team, they were a very physical team last year and they beat us and we were a really good team so i have to give them the props they deserve. Maybe we'll get a rematch again this year but with a different outcome. Looking forward to seeing yall in the playoffs with whatever team yall put up against us. Should be some good hard fought battles from 5 and 6-2A this year! Good luck to all these teams and we'll see yall in the playoffs!

If Richland lost Diaz & Pickett (RB & QB from last year) then they'll be far from a playoff team in '06.

1.) Lewis Co.

2.) Camden

3.) Waverly

4.) Riverside

5.) Richland

6.) Stewart Co.

7.) Loretto

8.) Adamsville

9.) Houston Co.

I think I read in another thread that Pickett was staying in Lynnville...but without a go-to guy it'll be tough on Pickett if they continue that option offense. As far as your list...looks pretty accurate to me(we'll see where Camden is at after weeks 0 and 1) except there are alot of questions in Riverside this season and who knows what might happen at Adamsville with a new coach. Should be an interesting season in region 6-2a

Richland did not loose Cory Pickett but they did loose Brock Dias who was a outstanding tailback but I believe they are some things about brock that people besides on his former team didnt know about him.Brock was the kinda player that would stand all alone on the thirty yard line while the rest of his team was celebrating on the fifty if he didnt get his yards, touchdowns, praise, or glory.I dont want anyone taking me wrong on this post he was a very good back and he could pound that rock but he never once stopped and said thanks line, fulback, halfback, coaches.Richland will miss his talent but teamwork, heart, and friendship lays in question.Richland was built last year on the word TEAM from thursdays nights at their head coaches house watching game film for the next night to sunday morning at church. They are truly brothers and friends.

This team has a great line and I know they will find a rushing attack without mr.dias.We all wish him the best in the future and hope he contiues to grow as a young adult.

Richland will be a major force to deal with this year,I would say I hope yall pick agaisnt us and that it will only add fuel to the fire but its to late for that this team is already fueled.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
