You are exactly right about that. Smyrna def does have a talented crew.....but all of their individual passing yard numbers will diminish having to share the wealth 3 ways now instead of 2.

actually our linemen have been rewarded for their practice throught the week and is one of the reasons we get the day off tomarrow!!!!!!they have been great, and i dk if yall saw it but in my eyes our best lineman has been hurt since his sophmore yr when he hurt his knee and last year with his shoulder..dnj wrote about him and he is the strongest fastest and best blocker we have and thats cody southerland!i am proud of our line and sonny WONT have any problems with time!4 seniors and a junior on the sline..with one sophmore rotating in and out ath EVERY position...

unless you are talikng to an administrator, i would not put much stock in this so called source. smyrnas projected enrollment is around 1800, so unless tssaa decides to change classification rules, this "source" is just trying to find something to gossip about.

Only school in Rutherford County that is even close to 4A numbers is Oakland, not Smyrna. Smyrna's expansion to the campus should make their numbers hit close to around 2000, along with LAvergne.

If they do get rid of it quick, them DBs better be able to make open field tackles and have some speed because Sonny and Rod will be gone. They will light up the DB's, just wait and see.
