Oliver Springs will scrimmage at Midway on Tuesday night (8/8), and will be part of eight teams competing at the Roane County Football Jamboree at Harriman High School on Friday evening (8/11) starting at 7:00 pm.

Cat, do you know the line-up for the jamboree, or could you at least tell me the teams that will participate? I might go down there and check it out. Thanks a lot bro!

Anybody know how the Midway scrimmage went tonight?

OS was a little rusty at first on offense and defense, but as the scrimmage went on, the defense really stepped up, and the offense had some nice runs, and even some nice passing plays. It was a four team scrimmage, with teams swapping out from the main field to the lower field, so it was kinda hard to keep score. The OS JV looked real good at the end of the scrimmage. Midway had a good scrimmage, and should have a good year!

...Tomorrow @ Tyner at approx. 6PM(ET) the "RAMS" and OS will tangle...I understand the JV game will be separate from the Varsity...I kinda like it this way because the younger players get more "reps"...hopefully both teams will be sharp and I pray that all who travel to this game arrrive safely...Peace!!!

Tyner played very well tonight. Is there any news on the kid that got hurt? I was leaving as it happened, I believe it was an Oliver Springs player. Hopefully he will be ok no matter what the injury was!

How was the game. I could not make it?

Like RamFan mentioned the varsity teams played on the main field and the JV played on the practice field. I watched the Varsity team. Tyner opened with some good defense and on two straight drives went in for touchdowns with Craddock at QB. The next two or three drives for Tyner had the back up QB in, Tyner scored on 1 of those I believe. When Craddock came back in the Rams drove the ball around 90 yards for a score. This came after 2 Oliver Springs first downs in the red zone. Tyner played great defense all night and tackled well espeically their secondary. Oliver Springs has some very good athletes and were very classy young men. I dont believe Tyner varsity game up a touchdown.

As far as the JV, i saw them score 2 touchdowns on long runs, this was while I was still sitting in the stands. And I did see Oliver Springs get an interception. But I have no clue about the score over there. When they came back, I heard a fan say that they had to stop because of an injury to one of their players, and then the ambulance showed up. So I am not sure who it was or how severe the injury was, maybe someone can enlighten us. Hopefully he is ok.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
