I don't agree that Tyner is not as good as years past. I actually believe they are better than last year, much better in many areas. The back to back losses to Brainerd blurrs peoples vision of Tyner. Tyner will have to prove they are still the team to beat Friday night at Marion.

...'Tynerfan99', you are correct in your assessment of this team...even though the scores from the Brainerd game were similar the total yardage shows a different picture...with all the experience we had at the skill positions last year(all were seniors), yardage was 96 rushing, 38 passing(134 total yards)...this year with a 1st year qb and back-up rb's and wr's it was 279 rushing, 62 passing(341 total yards)...this is a very different team with a stronger and more experienced line!!!

Some times it seems that a loss can have a very positive effect on a team, and Tyner will use the loss to Brainerd to refocus on the true goal of winning the region. That first step will be taken in Jasper on Friday.

The beaver says that Tyner will win this game. The beaver agrees with the corn flake.

Marion will have to stop turning the ball over, and keep Tyner from the BIG plays as has happened in the past. This game will be won in the trenches.

Slick Rick says this game will be won at the skill positions. The lines are even. Tyner has MUCH more speed than has been seen so far. Slick Rick says it will be tough.

When Slick Rick speaks everyone should listen. This includes this Sniper.
