Clinton vs. South Doyle

Clinton is coming off a strong win this past weekend and feeling pretty good going into this Friday's match up with South Doyle. What's the word on South Doyle and what do you all expect to see come Friday night?

Dragoon, congratulations on the nice win at CC. I think the Dragons can get SD. They are struggling. They have some good athletes, but I think Clinton has better coaching and they play together as a team better.

Lovely win for the Dragons!! I was really impressed with the dragons over CC, the Offense was RAW! and the defense really did better than I had ever seen them play, even if CC was that bad, a 42-0 shutout is a confidence builder for any team!!!!

 

I think the Dragons will win easily over South Doyle, I pick,

I really liked the Dragons no huddle offense, by the time our offense was ready, CC's defense didnt know what they were supposed to do!!!!

 

ORidgeKat, I am sorry about the loss, I was really pulling for Oak Ridge!!!!

 

I think if Clinton plays like they did at CC, they can win the next 4 games, and maybe even beat West or Powell, the AC vs Clinton game is next Friday, I cant wait, both teams will be pumped up for that one, no telling who will come out with the win!!!!

Where oh Where is Ollie Shanknerdie? I predict this game will go into 10 overtimes before someone wins. Both are horrible and can't beat the sisters of the poor!

I think your wrong, Clinton is not a horrible team, there is no horrible team gonna go in, and no matter how bad their opponent is, and beat them 42-0, Clinton will win pretty easy, and one more thing, the Dragons are playoff capable this year. Halls, Lenoir City, Powell, and South Doyle will not make it!!!!

reddevil1, if Clinton is horrible, then Halls is just pittiful!!!! they both have the same record, and Clinton has had the hardest schedule in the state!!!! Clinton has more 1st downs, more yards, more points, and much more spirited students and fans then Halls does!!!!

How did we get on the subject of Halls? First off, we need to concentrate on South Doyle. Sure they haven't scored a point all season but that doesn't mean anything. We need to get prepared and wax their taters. Halls will get here soon enough. GO DRAGONS!

Clintons faithful will be out in full force this Friday. Looking to get that much needed second win. I look for Clinton to continue to build on the momentum from the past week. This game should be a cake walk but we need not to take it lightly. As for Halls, let them talk trash if they must. I can only presume that with their crappy team, they have to look up and down their respective schedule to see who they can beat. Since Clinton hasn't had a winning record over the past couple of years, then we become an obvious target. Rest easily my friend, when its time for the Halls game, we will bring it full force.

Clinton will beat South Doyle with no problem.

 

Jason Phillips has done a good job with the offense for Clinton. He has brought the Maryville system with him.

 

Ritchie Marsh has done a good job with the defense.

 

If the kids come out for football. Stay commited. I see no reason why Clinton can't be a good team in the future.
