Best stadium to play in east Tennessee

Polk County has an OK stadium for a small school...doesn't compare to BEAR stadium at Bradley Central or Science Hills... SH stadium is almost like a small version of The Swamp in Florida with the painted concrete walls in and surrounding the seats. Bradley Centrals has great turf, and seats more than any other stadium i've seen in TN.Clinton High School has a very nice stadium as well... both home and away sides are equal seating with another section behind the end zone with a tunnel leading to the locker rooms. The turf always seems to be top notch as well. As for Red Bank...Seating isn't that comfortable or plentiful, and the field surface could be better. So lets take RB off the list. My top 5 are as follows.

 

1- Bradley Central "Bear Stadium"

2- Clinton

3- Science Hill "Spurrier Stadium"

4- Lincoln County "The Pit"

5- Morristown East

you do have to be kidding, the seating is inadequate and there is a track around the field which puts the fan even further from the action.

Some people need a map to see where East Tennessee starts and ends.

 

I haven't been in a while and would assume it is not the same since there program is down. However, back in the late nineties Elizabethton had the best fan support and an incredible atmosphere. They would feel up there entire home side plus over half of the visitor side. It was down in a hole so the sound just echoed. Add the black and orange yard lines and it made for a great high school football atmosphere.

 

Also always thought it was unique that Burley Stadium in Greeneville is surrounded by a cemetery and a funeral home. Must make visitors wonder if they will get out alive.
