Who was the player that got ejected? TSSAA rules state that if you are ejected during a game then you can not play in the next one.

 

# 55 Tony Roden was ejected and unless it is appealed and the appeal is successful he can not play Friday. Garry Taylor was the one with the knee injury.

This should be a good one.

Great rivalry match up.

On paper I'm sure most would go with the Pirates. Games are not won on paper though. The only way this one stays close is if Marion Co. contains the speed of South Pitt. Boyd Buc did a good job slowing down the Pirates in there game, and keeping it a low scoring game. If the speed is not contained, this will be a blow out. If the speed is contained, i still see South Pitt winning by 14.

I guess we just don't stand a chance this week. No need in even making the trip down to SPitt. I guess I'll just have to find another game to go to on Friday......

 

Awww...come on down anyway. We need your money . I believe this will be closer than many think. It will be good for SP to be played tough and have to dig down deep. Our Jr High had to do this Thursday against JMS. This is still Jasper - SP and there ain't no sure things. SP prevails in the end by 6 points

The school up the road from S.P. better be ready regardless of what people call them. Every year the thing I hate the most is hearing "We are the Real Marion County"... great, wonderful, and more importantly I think S.P. better remember the superbowl celebration that happened on their field two years ago.
