Ripper
Coach Smoker. He is the Knox Fulton Freshmen coach. It is much more difficult to teach former city league players. Most of the time a freshmen coach has to reteach. A good freshmen foundation is the future of a great Varsity. Smoker #1 Ripper
defender25
Clint satterfield. Actually change that, not just Clint Satterfield, his dad as well. The famous coach of Hartsville got everything out of every player that could make it through practice, and he taught his son to do the same. So my vote is easy on this one, the Satterfields. Love them or hate them, they know how to coach. Absolutely. Hate him or love him, he gets it done, just like a chip off the ol' block. He gets every last drop of talent out of every one of his players. You will not find one single person who has played against TC in the past 50 years that will tell you that they weren't one of the most well-trained teams around; notwithstanding talent. Some years he's got more talent than other years, but EVERY YEAR Hartsville is a football machine when it comes to knowledge of the game and sound football. Let's say it this way: if Hartsville ends up with a 4 seed in the playoffs, that's almost not fair to the 1 seed. You win your region, and as a result, GET to play TC......HA! adidas23
I can't argue with that pick. How do you argue against state championships that they both have? yup you are right they have won a few in their day

MilanDog9
Isn't Milan the team that just had to forfeit 4-5 games because of an ineligible player? You're right, Milan did have to forfeit 4 games because of an ineligible player, but that doesn't take away from Coach Morris's coaching ability. Even with the setback, you can bet your bottom dollar that Milan will be in the playoffs and making a run for the state title.
thedawg44
i can't say who is the best now because there are so many from east to west, but i can tell you who the greatest coach was to ever walk the sidelines of tennessee high school football. Ask the other coaches that knows him. I have heard several present and past coaches say, Satterfield could trade teams with you and beat you. After he had skunked you with his team. Its not just fans and players he has made respect him. The coaches are always worried as to what he is bringing. Then he out coaches them. The master at making them make mistakes. The reason his team is small in numbers is obvious dont you think? After all who needs players standing on the sidelines that cant play or dont want to. He is not a baby sitter, he is a coach. For the record, Im not afiliated in any way to TC.
Cav05BigWig
ok, I cant believe that Coach P.A. hasnt been mentioned so far. You have to give him this one for coming to Crockett when it was everyone's homecoming to now its ranked anywhere from number 1 to number 5 in the state. So my vote goes for Coach P.A. Pratt of Crockett County
Big Bigby
Coach Walt Smith mTp. His record speaks volumes, taken over coaches posistion in '03 and hasn't lost a region game since that same year. Great job! And he's just startin.
