OLD PIRATE
well this is a easy one for me because ive seen what this man can do with a good team . and he goes to a different school and still does it... hands down Danny wilson .. ex south pitt coach and now cleveland coach.. man I wished he hadnt left..... then id have to say satterfield... i know wilson hasnt coached as long as satterfield. but when Wilson coaches he wins championships.. Old Pirate says CHILL GENO, your nephew was part of a bunch of players that were developed when Danny took the team from coach Don Grider. Old Pirate says Danny is a GOOD coach, modivator and certainly is a fine coach. He did not do much at his 2nd head coaching job. Old Pirate says IT STILL TAKES HORSES, Ken Colquitte is an example of this, look at his record at Jasper when he had that run of fine atheletes and after that pipe line began to sputter at Jasper, then later at Grundy. Old Pirate says good players/atheletes are still and always will be the # 1 reason coaches become and stay successful. WAR EAGLES make orange lovers PROUD! FCSpoe
Clint satterfield. Actually change that, not just Clint Satterfield, his dad as well. The famous coach of Hartsville got everything out of every player that could make it through practice, and he taught his son to do the same. So my vote is easy on this one, the Satterfields. Love them or hate them, they know how to coach.
Geno
well Old Pirate Since ya know me, what i mean is making players respect you and getting them to respond to you with respect.. I still talk to a few off that 93 94 team that has so much respect for him and none for u know who .

MilanDog9
Hands down, Coach Jeff Morris out of MILAN, TN is the best coach in TN. He definitely knows how to get the best out of his players...that's why each and every year they are considered a powerhouse 2A football team!! hossingiles
Well, I would have to put Coach David OConnor from Giles County in the mix. Last year this team was 4-6 this year they are 6-0 and as it looks headed to the playoffs with a win against Page tonight. The talent has always been there they just needed a good coach to bring it out. Way to go Coach OConnor! reddevil1
Isn't Milan the team that just had to forfeit 4-5 games because of an ineligible player?
where's the love?
george quarrels from maryville and former riverdale and now alcoa coach gary rankin.they know how to win and both get it done. I can't argue with that pick. How do you argue against state championships that they both have?
