Maryville V Knoxville West

Can West keep it close? They have a high octane offense that can put points on the board. How many will be enough?

As it stands right now, Maryvilles opponents have a 22-33 record. I just don't see anyone, including Knox West from keeping Maryville from an undefeated regular season.

The problem for West lies in themselves, not Maryville. Yes, Maryville is a great football team. But right now, if there is one team in East Tennessee that could beat Maryville, it would be West. West may lose this one, but it will be because of mental mistakes. This is a very talented team, but a very undisciplined one as well. Look for West to keep it close. If they don't have mental lapses, you may see an upset.

West trailed most all the game against a MoWest team that couldn't throw a ball in the ocean. The Trojans had numerous fumbles forced and not forced. Jake was either hurried or may have even hurried himself all night.

If Maryville completes a couple of passes and the defense gets into Jake's head then its a long night for Knox's Rebels.

West is a better team than in recent years, but they just don't have enough disipline to beat Maryville. I wouldn't be suprised if they beat Maryville, but don't expect it to happen.

Yes but, MoWest is a power team the like to run it down your throat not throw the ball and i think if Easterly wouldnt have fumbled West would have won

This game will be closer than the Central game. Ryan is underrated and West have some great skilled players. But Maryville always finds a way to win, they are well coached and their defense is to strong for any team I've seen this year.

Morristown West threw for 155 yards last week.

I don't think Ryan is underrated, frankly I think it is too much about him and not enough about West. West has a better team than in recent years, but made huge mistakes vs. MoreWest. Maryville did not have that good a game vs. billyblount or central. Too many mental errors for a GQ team and they will be ready to have a breakout game vs. someone and this could be the week they shut west out.

 

West is 2nd or 3rd in the region now but they are not equipped enough to take Maryville down, not even close. Unless that any given thing takes over Maryville by 27 till GQ calls off the dogs, then West will score.
