Remind me where "HTV" does the pa? Wondering if I've heard him??? Thanks for putting me in the mix ... my secret--aspiring young PA guys may want to know this--is that I always drink 8oz of castor oil before every game.

 

 

Actually, GovMan, HTV is a radio guy, not a PA guy, but I do appreciate the compliments i've gotten here. I'm flattered.

I would like to list a couple of Honorable Mentions:

 

The P.A. guy for the old Kingsport Ketron High School was classic. In a playoff game at Ketron in the mid '70's, the Mairvul QB was taking a knee to run out the clock. When a Ketron DT can into tag the Mairvul QB this cat said, "Big Jim so and so comes in and slams the QB down for a big loss."

 

The P.A. guy for Knox Central is good too. When a TSSAA official called an official's timeout and then proceded to run to the little boy's room, the Central P.A. man said, "I think it's safe to say, when you've got to go, you've got to go."

I agree with an earlier commentor that Hendersonville's is hard to handle. More is not better. I've always like the guy at Gallatin.

it seems to me that you have a big problem with the truth. I have been officiating for 7 years and have never ever seen anything that bad. I do alot of exazggerating inside the maplewood hillboro blog but here im being honest.
