I heard for sure that Kayla Hudson {from Gleason High School}Signed with NAIA two time defending national champion Union Lady Bulldogs . Good luck to her . Union got a good one.

Kayla did not sign to early. She signed with the team and Coach she wanted to play for. Her criteria for a College: 1) Winning tradition 2)Like the Coach 3) Close to home. Union scoed a perfect 100

That may all be true right now but a lot can change in one season. Coaches leave, players come and go, and seniors in high school can change their ideas of what the perfect college is for them very quickly.

I agree with the coach leaving thing, that could be a nightmare. However, as long as she is at the school that offers what she wants to major in and it's free, good for you Kayla. Many blessings to you on your college career and free education.

Congratulations to Kayla and to Union, it seems like a perfect fit. Union got a good one, Kayla Hudson is a great player and an even better person. Union will continue winning with local girls and packing their gym. Looks like a few more NAIA National Championships over the next few years.

 

Coach Campbell is a great coach who recognizes talent, he also is a classy guy who loves his girls but teaches more than basketball.

Great young lady with top notch parents coming from a class program and going right into another one...great match for everyone involved. Her unselfish play, determination and heart along with her ability will no doubt keep that program at or near the top the next four years...congrads!!!

They do have a few local Jackson girls! Do you consider anywhere in West Tennessee local? I show 6 of the girls are from up north or Africa.
