ambiguousrock
This, as most of us know, is the game that Centennial fans have been waiting for as far as having a chance to win. But I don't think they will. The Cougars will go 0-10, and Coach Gregory should get what's coming to him, which is a pink slip, and a show of the door. sportsplayer
Centennial wins this one! I think their fans will get what they've been waiting for. Columbia needs to pink slip every one of their coaches and start over. Lots of talent, very poor coaching, and absolutely no discipline. Bullock from Whitthorne Middle could turn this team totally around and take them to the playoffs every year. He knows the game and demands discipline from his team. Very well respected by players and parents.

I agree about the coaching, but from what ive heard Centennial doesnt have many fans anymore and most of the students have been going to the Franklin games. I think Ravenwood had more fans at the game against Centennial (which was a home game for them) than Centennial did.

I think Ravenwood had more fans at the game against Centennial (which was a home game for them) than Centennial did. That might be the case in the last few weeks, but it was not when the season began. I went to Centennial's first 3 games, and at each of them there was a pretty good size crowd (and two of them were 45 minute away games). Do you blame the fans for not showing up to the games? This is a team that has been blown out in every game since week 2. I would have liked to be at every game, and I'll be there on Friday, but I'm guessing that most 0-8 teams in the state have dwindling fan support. faninthestand
The saddest thing with this game is how few players will be on the sidelines. I was disappointed to see such few on the Columbia sidleines last friday - and have heard the numbers are down at Centennial. That to me is the truest measure of a coaches succes or lack of it - the number of players who continue to come out for a sport they grew up loving! zoosee12
i say centennial wins this one unless gregory doesnt pass at all and centennial still has fans that are true about 30-40 will stay all the way through even though we are being beaten by 30+ points most of the time but regardless of this game centennial has no chance at franklin and the reign of gregory is very likely to come to an end centennial-26 colubia-18 Edited October 16, 2006 by zoosee12
