BigG
Ah. Makes much more sense. Yeah... sometimes I forget I am dealing with a runner. By the way, I hope to meet you this year at state (if we are fortunate enough to get there with the guys team) Our track coach says he knows you (or of you). Good luck this year. For all the others, make sure you post your predictions before Saturday morning. I'll try and have my assistant tally the scores again tomorrow at about 2:00. BigG
BigG, an assistant. Is this what you make your teachers aid's do? Thanks. You too. After he washes and waxes my car, cleans my cleats, and lines the field of course. Dang, what do you want him to do? Grade papers?

BigG
I totalled up my region final points: Semis: 11 points Region finals: (worth 2 points each) 12 points (6 for 7 not counting the Madison district/region thing) Total so far: 23 points I'll try and tally the others this afternoon. Now for all contestants. Start by printing out a new updated bracket from the Chattanoogan. You keep your points from the first round, but now pick from sectionals all the way to finals. At the end, in case of any ties, predict the total number of goals scored by all teams in the state tournament. If you tie with another player, whoever was closer to the correct amount pulls ahead. PK shootout win counts as 1 goal. If there is a tie at the end of regulation (like 2-2) and it goes to shoot out, the total goals scored for that game is the number scored in regulation plus 1 (so in our 2-2 tie, the total would be 5) no matter how many pks are scored. Get it? Edited October 27, 2006 by BigGExpress

Zeek
BigG...tryin' to get ahead to be able to say "I told you so"? BigG
Zeek, at first I thought you picked the same teams as I did, until I saw that you picked Catholic. I had to go for the whole ball of wax and try an upset to get ahead, and while I would like to see Catholic advance, they had too many close games in region and distrtict tournament, I thought. We'll see though. Edited October 27, 2006 by BigGExpress
