Solomon
http://www.thejacksonsun.com/apps/pbcs.dll.../610190321/1006 I just happened to run up on this article and noticed that 3 of the 4 programs in rural west TN are ranked in their classifications Top 25 poll. Martin is #16 in the 1-AA poll, Bethel is #12 in the NAIA poll, and most surprisingly Lane is #25 in the AFCA D-2 poll. Great news for rural West TN football. Lane also has a trio of receivers that the NFL is looking at. Bethel is on the rise, expect more out of this team as the years go on. They recruit West Tennessee harder than anybody else, and naturally that has improved their fan base at home games. I'm glad to see the Wildcats play in front of a packed house in their own stadium. Antwan
Bethel loses to #1 St.Francis 42-35 in Indiana...Sounds like it was a barnburner... Bethel had two punts blocked for td's...and still had the lead (35-34) with a 2:15 minutes to go. St. Francis scored with 56 seconds to go to win. It looks by the stats...Bethel very well should have won the game.
