Clinton posters do not bash their coaches, I know some of them dont like our OC, but they just need to learn to live with it, and support him, he is young, to me it looks like he is doing a pretty good job, he is doing double duty, seing that we have no Offensive Lines coach, and he is still helping us get some big numbers, I know we have had several games, where we just didnt play good at all, but then we have had games, where we did, the past 2 weeks Clinton has had some really good chances to get into and win the ballgame, the central game wasnt a blowout, one TD was on a punt return, and the other was right after a 50 yd punt return, only one TD was taken down the field on our defense. Our offense moved the ball, and had only 2 less yards then Central did, yet we still couldnt score after we got inside the 20. expect the same Dragon team to be at the field Friday, and Clinton WILL win the game by 14.

Like I said before, Clinton doesnt have enough talent to stop Cruze and the Panthers. Expect the highest scoring game for Powell this year. Also to clear up things about Bruhin, he didn't injure his knee during the Maryville game. It happended during practice and he was ready to play against Halls, but the coaches said he wasn't going to play.

I'm kinda confused too with all of these Clinton fans guaranteeing a Dragon victory. I think I've heard that from a few of you in some previous games this year (cough, SD, AC, cough cough, Halls, cough cough). The funny thing is that after you insert your foot in your mouth after a loss like that, you guys won't show up on here for almost a week, until it's time for the next game on Friday. If Cruze doesn't play, this game could go either way. If he plays hurt, he won't be effective at all, and it's a toss up. If he's healthy, Powell should win by 2 touchdowns. Still, there is no reason to pick Clinton in this game, unless you believe that the injuries at Powell are piling up, and the Panthers are going to be resting a lot of starters for next week's game against Red Bank.

    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
