How bad did Central get beat by West?

I think this is better for Rhea to get to play Central again rather than west because it is alot easier to get focused for Central because of what happened last year.

I believe it will keep the team from looking forward to Maryville..

West won 30-7 and had 30 unanswered point and it was a mud bowl as well from what I heard

Im not sure on the injured players status just yet. Central started the West game without the following starters, All State Defensive End Orlando Blair, tail back Jamie Wilson and Free safety Will Mcmillan. When West was up 12-7 early in the 3 rd quarter Central lost their starting QB Clark Mcmillan, Fullback and Middle linebacker Josh Owens, and defensive Tackle Cory Jeffries. Blair, Owens and Jeffries are the seniors that have carried the Central D this year. All of these injured players are key to the success of the Bobcats. West played tough and deserved the win, but Central probably wouldnt beat anyone in Reg 3-4A with all these guys out. If the Cats can get these guys back then they can play with just about anyone, without them, (Well) just check the West game.

Central is not the same team that started the Season so strong. I am not disappointed with the slide because with the injuries and inexperienced it is to be expected. Another problem that Central is experienceing is the lack of transfers (especially from Halls) since the coaching changes.

I look for the Bobcats to put a good fight and pull off an upset with they travel to Rhea Co. on Friday night. If the weather is good I look forward to making the trip. I certainly won't sit out in the rain like I did this past Friday.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
