The stats are from The Tennessean through completion of regular season. QB calculator requires interceptions which are calculated from game summaries in The Tennessean.

Congratulations to all of these young men on a fine season and best wishes to all in the playoffs.

I would love to see similar calculations for other great quarterbacks in the state: BJ Coleman, Erik Larson, Adam Currie, Curt Phillips,...

Check out the numbers posted by a quarterback named Kyle Christmas.

Curt is 96 for 148 so far with around 1700 yards,17 rushing tds,17 passing tds, and 4 int's. and that is still with the playoffs to go. He also has over 700 rushing yards. no doubt we will see him playing on saturdays in a few years for just about any D1 school out there.

Plugging in Burnette's numbers and you get 147 NFL rating, 234.6 NCAA rating. Can anyone come close?

Also Burnette is only playing about 1 to 1 1/2 quarters a game. He shares the quarterbacking with Hunt (senior), and in most games they only play one or two series in the second half before the reserves take over. If he was the primary quarterback and play an entire game it would be scary what his numbers would be. P.S. Hunt's numbers are very good also.

Player g cmp/att pct yds avg td lng int

B. Burnette 10 63/86 0.73 1243 19.73 11 54 2

D. Hunt 10 37/46 0.80 569 15.38 8 90 0

Combined ratings: NFL 150 NCAA 342

I saw a stat where he had around 4500 total yards of offense his freshman and sophomore years combined. I know he is breaking alot of records that his coach Stacy Carter owns.
