NEXT YEAR WHITE HOUSE SHOULD BE FAVORED TO WIN CLASS 3 A. THEY PLAY SO MANY SOPHMORES THIS YEAR , AND THEIR FRESHMAN CLASS IS LOADED. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT IN 2 YEARS WHITE HOUSE WOULD BE THE BEST TEAM IN ANY CLASSIFICATION. FOLKS IN WHITE HOUSE ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THE NEXT 2 YEARS....

RIGHT...............

The winner of the White House at Pearl-Cohn game next year will represent the east in the Blue Cross Bowl :thumb:

I know becera summed it up very well when talking about what all the Blue Devils do return to the field next year. They do lose a few great players in guys like Justin West, Dustin Townsend, & Rogers Gaines but two of those guys they should be able to replace. Townsend is the biggest worry in my opinion. I know he wasn't a "fan favorite" on here all the time BUT he did give White House stability at the quarterback position. When he played well this past year (ie the first PC game and the Sycamore game) WH was a very difficult team to beat. His leadership is what's going to be missed most. Anyone that doesn't think that he's a tough kid should look at the playoff games from this past postseason. Pearl-Cohn loses some key players as well in receivers Rashad Mason, Brian Gupton, & Jeremy Gordon. Outside of that the Firebirds should be better than they were this past year as well. They return both quarterback Deaunte Mason and Deaveon Gregory to the offensive backfield and the defense will be anchored by linebackers Dominique Sweatt and Howard Griffin.

2007 Region 4-3A Preseason Predictions (I'll Clarify At A Later Date):

1.) White House/Pearl-Cohn WINNER

2.) White House/Pearl-Cohn LOSER

3.) Sycamore

4.) Station Camp/Greenbrier WINNER

5.) Station Camp/Greenbrier LOSER

6.) DeKalb Co.

7.) Macon Co.

Rogers Gaines is only a junior.

    • “facts” or better yet ‘opinions’ had been up for weeks/months. that’s not why the thread was deleted. get over yourself.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say the have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
    • Crazy how the thread just gets deleted when facts come out.
    • I understand I guess it depends on the school you are with and the time you want to put in.  It’s evident of the schools that don’t put in as much times.  I would say basketball players put in as much time as any sport in our school system and this is coming from a football town.  Bball is a longer season than other sports.
    • 7 Pages of complaining because the lacrosse team put removable lines on the field so that they could practice/play lacrosse  Y'all boys are bored huh lol
