You called this one and Camden,.I was simply amazed at how easily CPA moved the ball on Camden. They completly dominated. Lowry was impressive and very poised, is he a Jr. or Sr. Legitimate D-1 QB. Camden's D was not able to stop the run or pass.
MPTigerT
Tough loss LC. You just lost to the eventual state champs probably. Kinda like when MP lost to DCA in '04. It's still tough to swallow I'm sure.

hunt4
No excuses here, Goodpasture is just plain better than Lewis County. Speed killed them around the outside all night.... I thought that Lewis Co's defense played decent in the begining of the game, Holding them to 7 in the first quarter on a long screen pass and also holding them to a couple 4th downs which they were able to convert. But then the athletism of Goodpasture really began to show and they never looked back. Very poor tackling by Lewis Co as well as they thought they could knock down the Goodpasture players instead of wrapping them up. This killed them all night. Congratulations to Goodpasture, they also seemed very classy to everyone there, including our band. Good luck to you in the rest of the playoffs
onewaytoplay
I did not see this coming. I was certain it would be close. Can the Milan/Humboldt winner keep it close? What about Alcoa? Both Alcoa & Goodpasture may be good enough to win 3A or 4A! That's ridiculous! Edited November 11, 2006 by onewaytoplay
Stat_pack1
No question here......5aa is the better one.....thanks to GP and CPA. They ended the discussion quick. But.........you knew there was going to be one of those..lol, with GP and CPA out of 5....it would be a toss up.....those in 6 would make 6 the top one. It appears that all others out of either district would be competitive. I can see now all the talk about private vs. public......there is quite a differance..seen it first hand. This isn't meant to put down the wins....but do see the differance. Hope the young man that was hurt is doing good today......sure hate that he'll miss playing in the playoffs......hopefully he isn't a senior and will have the opportunity to play....and what I see of GP......there will plenty opportunties to play in playoffs! Good luck!

panther3
I have never seen such a arrogants in my life. Goodpasture, classy, bullcrap, LC has alot more class than GP, running the score up, putting the first string back in every time LC got close enough to score and whats with the onside kicks, humiliation is more like it. That's really teaching the players good sportsmanship, but what do you expect out of a bunch of rich silver spoons that wouldn't know how to treat somebody with respect and dignity if their life depended on it. LC handle the humiliation pretty well considering some of the major players on LC had a bad attitude going into the game, ready for the season to be over with and didn't want to play. Maybe the game would have been different if the whole team showed up to play. Someday it will come back and bite GP players and coach in the butt for being so classy. Go CPA or Alcoa, just put GP in their place, a place like the rest of us humans not bought and paid for super silver spoons.
