Congrats to Smyrna on a great, well-deserved win.

 

Riverdale has some weaknesses and Smyrna took full advantage. The Bulldogs have earned a big celebration but should save it for down the road a couple weeks (after the BC bowl).

 

Hopefully some of the Riverdale posters that have said so much this week will be man enough to come back on and congratulate Smyrna. I'll leave this night for the Bulldogs to celebrate. I'll post some thoughts about the game tomorrow maybe.

 

Again, congrats to Smyrna on gutting out a very tough win.

Both teams had scoring opportunities. Both attempted FG's with no results in pts. Both couldn't punch it in in the red zone. I think Riverdale had some very costly penalties and turnovers.This was definitely a defensive battle.
