Imaowl are you on the team because you are very cocky. Lets see what happens on Friday to see if u still are talking them up. :thumb:

Imaowl will not brag about his accomplishments on the football field so i will brag for him. imaowl was an allstate middle lineback / fullback for ooltewah during there 2001 state semi finals run. one heck of a player for the owls and would still be playing for carson newman if not for a severe knee injury. and you will get to see his little brother #31 in the endzone tonight. go owls!

Wow I can see you put a lot of thought into this. Nice job, and great details. One thing I would like to change though..... Smyrna wins! :thumb:

Good luck to both teams tonight.

It ought to be a good one. I'll tell you what... if it comes down to this and Smyrna kicks the field goal in that situation. I would probably lean toward Smyrna in over time. That would be very tough for Ooltewah and give Smyrna an edge, especially at home.

other than smyrna playing at home, why would you give the advantage to smyrna on a short feild possesion situation in overtime? just curious?

Trust me, it will not be close enough for Smyrna to have a change to tie at the end of regulation. Ooltewah rolls.

I was saying if things ended up as I was illustrating in the game review above, it would be an emotional let down for Ooltewah, making it much more difficult, if Smyrna tied it at the end of the game. It would be an emotional lift for the Bulldogs at the end and I think that gives them, especially being at home, the advantage in that kind of situation.

I really think it would be all in how it ends. If the shoe was on the other foot, and Ooltewah tied it at regulation, I don't know that I would see it the same way.

I would expect you to feel that way. :D
