humboldt got out on trenton big time during the 1st quarter...i believe it was 25-10...but in the 2nd quarter trenton outscored humboldt by at least 10 and made it a close game at half...the rest of the 2nd half was pretty much going back and forth...humboldt would get up by 7 and then trenton would close the gap to 2 or take the lead by 1..it went back and forth like that the rest of the night until humboldt came down and went on a run to go up by 6 and held off trenton for the win 77-74...the officiating was fair even though they made bad calls, but they made them on both sides of the court...freethrow shooting was the big thing in this game though..humboldt missed i believe only 3 out of somewhere around 14 or 15...trenton missed about 6...that's the 3 point difference in it probably being a tied game or maybe a win for trenton..to go along with the freethrow shooting...ej epperson went 6 for 8 from the freethrow line so it's good to see that he has found his stroke again...congrats to cordero wade for making all region mvp and to chauncey hunt and odell jackson for making all region...humboldt takes on middleton monday at home...hoping to see a huge crowd there and i will be standing in the middle of the student section cheering on humboldt to win

humboldt really didn't overlook grace last year...grace just happened to have a guy that shot lights out...that kid has never shot like that before and the night before the union city game someone pulled out some krypnoite on him...i had already had union city picked last year to beat grace anyway after humboldt lost...

No...No..Humboldt didn't play any defense last year...This year they have stepped out of the zone and can stop the long range threats...Humboldt is hot and can produce major damage...
