Central was a victim of East's streaky shooting tonight. They outhustled us,kept us from getting any transition points,and shot lights out. East is very tough to beat at home.

The Big 9 is officialy being re-named the Big 1.

South stuck with sh the whole game. down 2 pts with a few minutes left. ended up losing by 10 mostly because fouling at the end and getting the 1+

This year the "Big 9" might be the worst conference in the history of Tennessee High School basketball.

East is that tough. They actually have a true big or semi big guy. Atleast hes not outside shooting threes. And it is probably the quickest team I have seen east have in a long time. They play excellent defense and just straight shoot lights out all night.

East really is tough, they are quick, get back on defense, they have a hoss down low,always hustle,and have the best point guard in the conference in my opinion. I know Throp is tough and is a competitor,but don't sleep on Snapp,he was all over us all night last night.I'd take Snapp as the number one PG in the conference.

 

I only see SH beating East when the game is at East,however if the South game was at East the other night,I look like an idiot.

 

Either way,East can beat anybody on any given night,and I think Coach Dyer needs to get some more credit. While the teams may all be down this year, it will at least lead to good competition, so I'm looking forward to this year.
