That doesn't make much sense at all... 13-1 and lost to the state champions by 3 points on the last play of the game. No all-state players.... I'm confused I am still trying to figure out why there is no Smyrna players on there. Is it only seniors? If so that may explain it. Congratulations to those who did make it though. BDURHAM Posted December 10, 2006 Report Share Posted December 10, 2006 The Tennessee Football Coaches Association create an all-star list that is compiled from names submitted by member coaches. Obviously, the coaches at Ooltewah and Smyrna probably do not belong to the association or chose not to attend the clinic. I believe they can fax in the names, but one would assume this did not happen. It is a flawed system, but that is the way the association chooses to do it. In my opinion Josh Day is a lot better than Paul Cleckner from Ravenwood...
