Someone on here said that Uppermans only loss was to Smith County...Uppermans only loss came at the hands of state and national powerhouse Shelbyville on a neutral floor. Smith Co. lost their first meeting with Upperman by about forty and the second by eleven. But anyways, back to th Freshmen, Ferris is probably the best ive ever seen. I havent seen the Advant girl but i would like to watch her play if she is really that good. What are her averages per game? Anybody know?

Yeah muffster...it is. If she wasn't on this team...I don't think they would be any better than 4-16...maybe worse. SC is very young and inexperienced. They are getting much better. Kayci is a prodigy. Barring injury...she will likely be the #1 player in the state her senior year. You can't teach 6'8".

two of the top 4 or 5 freshmen in the state of TN will play in the same gym against each other when Lausanne's Avant meets Westview's Rechis in the last game of the regular season

 

don't have the details of that game as far as time/date but maybe a Westview fan can give us that information

RE:Jaclissa Haislip....check the tennessean.com under high school girls basketball, her stats are awesome!

She has done very well the last 2 games. I might put her in the top 10 freshmen.

Well Antwan, was it just my imagination or was there a celebrity observer in Bill Landreth gymnasium in Smith County last night. I bet you came to see the "Big Show", Kayci Ferris. What did you think? Again, she was double and tripled teamed all night and only had 23 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 blocks. Not bad for a freshman.

Coach Maxwell is doing her part, but also she has learned from Coach Eric Bonner. She will always be a Murfreesboro Lady Belle!!!! Jaclissa has her own talent naturally just being able to use it instead of being "controlled" is another story.
