statebound07
Even though most Father Ryan fans have moved on the the wrestling forums, How do yall think the Fightin' Irish will do next year. There will be some big gaps to fill with the loss of big play makers such as Batmen, Dempsy, Blair and Robinson, Who will step up and fill these spots. Redtwin
I think they'll be lucky to win 5 games out of that schedule. Who will they beat besides Mt. Juliet, FCS, JP2, and maybe Ensworth? Edited January 9, 2007 by Redtwin

workinprogress
I could have sworn that they were opening with Overton next year.
DS2001
That schedule posted above is incorrect......Im not sure of the order but I do know that opponents for next year are Overton, CPA, Hillwood, MBA, Ensworth,BGA, BA, JPII, Baylor and either McCallie or Knox Webb.....I`ll Post it officially when I get it. That would make things a lot more realistic for the Irish.
SuperStar008
This year I was surprised becuase Farther Ryan was actually pretty good!I seems that they have a pretty tough game line-up for next year! Although they have young developing talent i dont see them going all that far, but i can only wish them luck, and only time will tell! But that scheduele was wrong, I just wanted to see what ppl would say.

No offense, but one 5-5 season does not exactly single a change in the right direction. If Ryan couldn't beat MBA last year, they likely won't any time soon. I don't really know if Ryan can count any DII game as a sure win. But that second schedule is a lot softer and looks more favorable to Ryan. With that schedule they might be able to hit 6 wins. Since you seem to know everything then what is the problem with Father Ryan? Is it coaching, athletes, lack of support by the adminstration & alumni? Just curious!!!!!!! They seem to have great freshmen teams & JV teams but the athletes never seem to reach their potential. The only Father Ryan program that seems to stay on top is wrestling. How does wrestling do it with the same athletes? Edited January 10, 2007 by cbg
