Union City could play a triple-header with Temple-Jackson County-Pickett County..Go to each school's gym in one day,Pickett County being the last at 12 midnite and beat the Bobcats with the second team.... ..By 20 And by the way.....If you can't spell beat...How you gonna beat anybody???.... I did ask Temple..They said they would rather play Pickett because Union City would beat them by 33.3...And they knew they could stay within 10 of Pickett.... So...Go back and put you bobcat mascot head on and throw out candy to the little kids... .Have a nice day....
tennesseebball
Crow Calm down man. I love basketball at any level. 1A ball is awesome. Some great teams. I was just trying to join the conversation. Good grief, so sensitive! By the way, it is a free country the last time I checked so I think I will continue to read and possibly post in the 1A threads! Guest AmazingGrace4551
QUOTE(justie129 @ Jan 25 2007 - 09:22 PM) 826346111 Grace Christian is yes 20-0 but because of their weak schedule some are over looking them, they could turn some heads come tourney time. I agree, Grace Christian has a very legitimate shot at making it to the boro. People count them out because of their weak schedule, and yes, they have a weak schedule, but that doesn't mean they're a weak team. But, let's just wait and see at tourney time, who knows what'll happen?

uctfan
QUOTE(global98 @ Jan 24 2007 - 02:17 PM) 826344250 I am not looking for who is in the AP top ten. I don't want to hear about people who are expected to be there. I am looking for teams that have the necessary ingredients to "make a legitimate run" to the state tournament, but have not shown that it is going to happen. Union City is NOT a part of this topic by your own "admission". Next question! Short Shot......Middle Shot.........Long Shot.......whatever you want, Union City will be the favorite for the Gold Ball again this year and loosing only one player from this years team they will be favored again in 07-08 season. So everyone else just might as well save their money from the hotels, food, gas, etc.
Themightymac
Sorry guys, While UC is favored to win, it will not be handed to them. You will have to work for it. I don't know how far down the poll you have to be to be a long shot but I will put Humbolt in there. I think they have talent, and good staff. But so far I don't think they have exhibited what it would take to go to the final rounds against schools like UC, or LC. Yes they beat LC once but I all but bet the farm they won't do it twice with or without epperson/sain. That said I believe that it is possible for this club to pull out some upsets and rank very high and yes possibly win. Obviously I believe this to be a long shot.
