That is not what happened. Fowler hit a fly ball and the outfielder dove for it and did not make catch Fowler wound up on 2nd. then Zurcher bunted him over and Conley hit a hard deep fly ball and scored Fowler . Thats how the third run scored. Was a great game to watch if you like pitching.

Ok. I talked to a player he said the guy in the outfield called the 2nd baseman off of it. Then he missed.. apparently he dove and missed.

I was told Mac Thoreson pitched for Farragut. I'm not sure why they didn't pitch Matt Ramsey. I assumed since they didn't pitch him(Ramsey) against Oakland in the Sports Belle championship that they were going to pitch him tonight..

Kinda tough on Papa Smurf these last few days and 4 games this week. Sports Belle Classic is a lot of fun and exposure to some really good teams, but you have to really plan ahead for those all important district games. I guess that is why he makes the big bucks. $$$$$$.

this was an amazing district match up....Bell had a great game he had some where around 5 or 6 Ks and defintly made the outs when it counted late in the game Far. had guys on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs and Bell md ea strike probably the out of the game.....the last inning was a very quik one for far. the first 2 batters jumped on the first pitch and hit kind dinky fly balls to 3rd and 1st and then the third our was made by jake fowler out in right feild one a pop fly this was a great game for both teams...and ibeleive the reason far. didnt pitch Ramsey is bc South Doyle had already seen him and they have WB on wed. and ramsey has not pitched against them.....and it is not like coach pharr to throw the same game to the same team until post season when it reall counts...witch really is good strategy and thoreson pitched very well for far......good luck to both teams as they fight for first place in the district things are gonna start to heat up in district 4 AAA i cant wait to see wat happens

o really?....dang didnt no that...well i guess Wed. is a must win for Far....SD went down against Morristown West tonight 5-4 in 8 innings Bryce Brentz pitched and i am pretty sure he lasted the whole game....not for sure on that??? i didnt make it out to this game...SD travels to Lenior City wed. then back to SD to play Lenior City again at home.....

WHOS PITCHING FOR FARRAGUT TONIGHT? ANYONE KNOW? I THINK THE GAME IS AT WB THIS TIME. BUT WE MIGHT NOT BE PLAYING BECAUSE OF WEATHER. WHO ARE THE BETTER PITCHERS FOR WB BESIDES MARK MCGILL, I NEVER HEAR ANY NAMES BUT THEY SAID AT THE BEGINNING THEY HAD DEPTH. FAR ALWAYS HAS SOMEONE THAT CAN BRING IT WHEN THEY NEED TO. THATS THE THING ABOUT THEM.

No games today....Aaron Garland has a record of 6-0 and Tyler Burstrum is also a quality pitcher for WB. I am unsure of his record though.

Wb Tourn at WB, they (WB)played a west virginia team thursday and won ... Aaron Garland pitched a great game. he is 7-0 now. That team(WV) was state champs last year but heard they lost their team to graduation. Maryville beat them 18-1 today. WB pitched Tyler Burstrum tonight against Walker Valley but dont know what the turn out of the game was. His record was 4-2 with 3 saves before tonights game I heard from one of the parents. The games tomorrow will most definately get rained out...Who are some of the other strong pitchers in this area, does anyone have a comment? I am from Fla and moved here in oct.06 and dont know much of the area. My nephew goes to Maryville and is just a freshmen, but love the game. Fan and Alumni of UT graduated there back in 92. Tryn to make games when I can. Can anyone fill me in on some of the programs around here. I know Maryville is a good football program. My sister tells me all the time. What about baseball? Any Knox teams any good to go watch.
