Congrats to Kayla Hudson for being named Class A Miss Basketball. I know you are going to say that the vote has not taken place yet; I realized that. But one must understand that Andrews and Leonard are from Middle Tennessee and will split the votes. All 3 young ladies are excellent choices. But Kayla Hudson will win for several reasons.

1) Andrews and Leonard are both from Middle Tennessee.

2) Hudson is the oldest of the group and the voters usually think that the other 2 young ladies will have another chance to win it.

3) Gleason, whether deserved or not, has been ranked #1 in the polls for most of the season.

So in advance, CONGRATS TO KAYLA HUDSON FOR BEING CLASS A MISS BASKETBALL IN 2007.

Being a fan of 12-A basketball I have to put my vote in for Abby Andrews. Personally I think she should have been nominated last year. Look at 12-A ball---two consecutive Miss basketball's from Perry County--and they didn't even win the district in either year-Summertown did. Last year I felt like Miss Andrews should have been the player of the year in 12-A simply because she could take over a game at anytime and personally led the CHS girls to a second place tie (if memory is correct) with PCHS.
