QUOTE(tdntn @ Mar 2 2007 - 05:26 PM) 826397297[/snapback]Anne Marie Lanning this season just against tennessee teams still alive at this point:

Wilson Central: 25 points

Clarksville NE: 30 points

Bradley Central: 23 points

Shelbyville: 20, 45, 28 (31 average)

28.5 average overall in games against these teams still alive. on the year she is the leading scorer in the state with a 24.1ppg average (39 games), 941 points total

great as she is at scoring, its the intangables that seperate her from the rest of tennessee. havent seen either of the other candidates in AAA play this year but AML is definately a deserving candidate and it would be great to see her crowned ms. basketball on her future home floor at MTSU, and hopefully immediately following her last high school basketball game

Puleo averaged 25.2 for the season

40 or more 3 times[7 times in her career]

5.8 rebounds

4 assists

2650 points in her career[22 points per game over 4 years]

I heard that I may have won in a write in vote????? /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Andrews is allot like Richland's Glidden. Either can take over a game, but both would rather play team ball and make their teammates better.

They both play so hard and will take the ball so hard to the basket that they get hammered allot. Both should really be able to refine their games in college. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

WAY TO GO ANNE MARIE LANNING I am so proud of you and your individual accomplishments not only the MISS basketball but all tournament too i know you are proud of the MISS basketball award and i am proud of you for winning it you are not only a really good basketball player you are an even better person off the court and when you get down to it that is what is important. I have loved wathcing you play these past 4 years and i have been amazed at many of the things you have done on the court and i know that it has come from HARD WORK and you have been a GREAT LEADER on this STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM and you did a great job of involving your teammated because you knew without them yall could not have achieved any of the accollades that has come your way you have great court vision you know when you need to take it to the whole wnd you know when you need to dish to alex or push it to alex or jessica nikki and the rest of your team. When someone who is as good as you are on the court and who works as hard as you do then that makes the whole team work that hard to and you of really been a great example of what a RIVERDALE LADY WARRIOR is!!!!!!

i know you would have given this award of for a state championship but i am glad that you didnt have to

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
