Just wanted opinions of if that was just exctiment and celebrations or if it was over the top and uncalled for? Well you know me.......I'm all about the excitement but please!!!!!!! they had planned that or thy wouldn't have been able to do it like they did. A little over the top if ya ask me! But hey they just won the Championship why can't they?

coachgat
QUOTE(neutral05 @ Mar 12 2007 - 08:57 AM) 826408736[/snapback]Yeah, let them celebrate. What could the officials do? Give them a technical? LOL j/k I think that was more of a cultural thing. All those young ladies did was a "Party walk" dance that you can see even preschoolers do. It was a dance routine that you can see on MTV, BET or whatever music video channel with Hip Hop on it. This was a championship game that these girls worked hard to get to and to let their hair down after playing all year is not over the top. I for one don't allow my players to dance and stuff during the regular season after games but I know I would allow it after the biggest game of the year... it would be time to celebrate. It was all in good taste. The crowd even gave them a round of applause because it was tasteful. They weren't doing anything classless. Someone said that it was planned. It is also planned to go and jump in a pile when you win too but that isn't looked down on. I made the comment to my wife that they even dance like a team...lol. They played well together executing their defensive plan in the beginning. 19 to 1 in the first quarter.
Not-so HeavyD
Let them do it........if their coach didn't have a problem with it, neither should anyone else. They have had years of close calls and I would have danced too if I was them....... Indian
I didn't notice it on TV but I fast forwarded to the next game as I'd taped them and watched yesterday. I guess it would depend on how long it went on.

Jerome
Thanks to all that replied to this comment in such a positive manner for as was stated these girls worked hard for the title and was not trying to show up the Marshal players . It's good to see everyone letting Austin-East celabrate something GOOD and not try and find a negative in it . THANK YOU ALL .
