To follow up here, I talked with the Loretto Assistant Coach Paula Jacobs and a lady who was keeping some stats at the Shelbyville Camp and there were some details on teaching responsibilites to be worked out as of Tuesday, June 19 and 20, but I believe Coach Tipps will be the new Loretto coach. I also received a phone call from a source in Lewisburg saying he was the coach. I haven't checked newspaper sources yet though.

Thanks, score3. It will be interesting to see what happens with Coach Tipps running the program now. My impression of the Loretto team at the Shelbyville Team Camp II was somewhat mixed. While they appear to have a decent inside game and good rebounding, they did not have a consistent three point game. I was impressed with the play of Freshman Abby Laws who had some good penetrating drives to the basket. She should be a valuable asset to the team in the future. It's a long time to the regular season so maybe the team will become better under the direction of Coach Tipps.
