I understood the context of the statement. He was saying how great it is that the two schools playing for the championship openly embrace God in a school setting....not that it has anything to do with their success

But that God, boy can he recruit /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

QUOTE(bmoy @ May 24 2007 - 09:43 PM) 826466475[/snapback]This is so exciting. To be able to give God the glory for the success of both schools is amazing. To be able to comeback through the losers bracket both teams. And for JCS to do so in such dominating fashion. Coach Coop talked about before the game that sometimes God puts you behind so that He can show how powerful he is.

BTW, who is this?

Dont make me bring up SNL

GO EAGLES

Not against a private school you didnt. Funny how things always go that way. Two private schools fighting it out for number 1 . The more things change the more they stay the same . Goodpasture and USJ also fighting for top spot except now in AA , what does that tell you . Private schools have the advantage and if you dont agree then your just dont want to believe the truth . But of coarse your truth I guess is God smiles on all who go to high dollar christian school.

"RECRUIT" being the key word in that statement.

FCS...congrats on a great year...we had fun playing you for two titles this year...good luck in 1A football next year...

Note to Larry...the comment about giving God glory had nothing to do with public schools...if you will go back and follow the football threads for JCS this year you will see our theme all year was we would give God the glory in victory or defeat...all of our signs had 4:13 on them as we wanted to think through God we could do anything and therefore would glorify him in wins or losses...this year we did that...we won a state title in football and chanted 4:13 and thanked God afterwards as a team...in baseball we had a heartbreaking loss and still chanted 4:13 and prayed to thank God afterwards...no intent on our part to imply anything about anyone...public or private...just to attempt to live up to our school mission...beleive all is possible with God...and to glorify and thank him regardless of the outcome...

Note to Oger...the two schools who played in the game played by the rules set out by TSSAA...so they deserved to be there...if you feel thoise rules should change there is a private/public board to express it...this thread is for comments about the title match...
