Central Purple
Anyone know if the new coach at Central has made any progress ? What are your thoughts for the 2007 season ?
Coniglio
Instant progress is hard. I wager another mediocre season.
REBELRON
Saw them in a passing league game vs Clinton today. Chatt Central has some nice skill players.
WARBOSS
Coach Barger is good and demanding coach. They will be much improved!
Old Warhorse
I was also at the passing scrimmage at Lenior City. The Pounders will be much improved. The new coach is gaining the respect of players with quality coaching and instilling discipline. CC has always had good skilled players but lacked discipline to execute consistently. Not ready by no means to challenge Red Bank, Cleveland or Rhea Co. but I think they might finish fourth ahead of Brainard, Walker Valley and White Co. Go Pounders! Central Purple
Does anyone know how how Central did today against Soddy ?
reaction
Any info on scrimmage results? I think they play Marion Co. on Tuesday. Kinda interested to see if Central can get back to where they were a few years ago when they had a pretty competitive team.
wardawg2038
Central defeated Soddy Daisy 2 tds to 1 in varsity action. Soddy came out on top 1 td to 0 in JV action. All in all a pretty good day for the Pounders. Offense must be improved as far as QB reads and execution but defense played pretty well stuffing the Trojans most of the day. The Pounders will go up against Marion Co. and Silverdale Baptist on Tuesday Aug. 7 at 5:30 p.m est
