This was a pretty good game to watch, you could tell it was the first game of the year, both teams have issues to work on. good luck to both. hope all is well with the hughes kid from Boyd.

 

P.S. I will say this if we are to compare the linebackers "Dikta" from CAK had 19 tackles and 3 sacks, the kid from boyd had 10 tackles.

good game cak has improved alot on defensive and were able to shut down boyd offense looked pretty good but it had a couple penalities and just really couldn't get everything going, but it is the first game of the year so you expect that

Thanks to everyone for your prayers for Nick Hughes. We won't know till Monday the extent of the damage. We are all guessing it was an ACL, it has all the signs for that. We have had 6 or 7 ACL injuries the past two years, so we are all sad. Nick was developing into a real leader, he certainly has the talent to play. He is a great kid and will bounce back from this. I am glad this is his Junior year.

 

Now, to the game. Congrats to CAK. You will do very well this year. You are strong at every position. We hope and pray you will take it to Alcoa now. Everyone talked about your offence and how good it would be...and it was. I was more impressed with the defence. Your D-Linemen really got after us. Joseph Bennett is the real deal.

 

We have played several teams here in Chattanooga that are 3A or 4A and you are the best team we've played. Good luck to you on the rest of the season. We hope to see you again in the playoffs.
