St. Agnes 3 Hutchison 2

A really good game marred by a out of position ref calling for a pk. Official that was 10 yds away would not show his buddy up by over ruling despite the fact that he had a better view and made no call.

It was great to see Hutchison's coach, Larry Creson, return to the sidelines after having brain surgery less than a month ago. Made the games score meaningless in the big picture.

Ooltewah was up 2-0 on CCS with 34 minutes left. I'm awaiting word on a final. This was like... 2 hours ago.

Final score: Ooltewah 2 CCS 0

Both teams played well, but Ooltewah controlled the match from start to finish. CCS had a couple of decent opportunities but the back four for Ooltewah was well organized. They were eager to see CCS again with their full squad after being defeated 2-1 by the Chargers at the CSS tourney.

Good to see OHS bounce back this week. I know they were disappointed with their performance against Farragut. Having Middleton back in the line up makes a ton of difference (they were missing here against Farragut).

Well done, Owls.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
