who are marshall county's key players???

Look out for Dante Hightower LB/RB, and the little quick QB, I forgot his name but, Hightower supposibly has been recruited by more than one SEC team and is considered one of the top players in the state........ But im tired of talking him up ,cuz I talked him up against Hickman and he did nothing so.... CW has to stay low on this big boy...

The only question once again for me after seing CW play Clarksville, is can the D-line make a difference... We all know that the D-line anchors the defense... They didnt look so good last week at Clarksville... Im sure Coach P will have the boys ready this week... Good Luck C-Dub...

BIG D AND I WILL BE THERE REDHAWK FANS...SAVE US A SEAT!!!!!

I have to go with the young ladds from Marshall County in this one. Donta Hightower is the X factor.

Well im sorry to say that the X factor produced nothing against HC.. I have nothing against Hightower... I played against him for two years of my high school career... Im just tired of talking him up without seeing any production out of him.... I did hear that he played well on defense against Hickman, but I just wander why he isnt getting the carries on O????

Marshall Co.:

#22 Braden (RB)

#2 Hightower (WR/LB)

#4 O'Neal (WR/DB)

#8 Morris (QB)

#12 Greer (WR/DB)

As for Creek Wood:

#2 Elliott (RB/DB)

#4 Shelton (K/WR/DB)

#7 Dollard (QB/DB)

#10 Tucker (RB/DB)

#28 Bell (RB/LB)

#33 Stokes (RB/LB)

[/q

So Oneal is no longer a QB!!!huh BC??? As for CW!!!!!!!! Stokes should be back for CW this week. He was out last week with an ankle problem... Bell is looking better as long as he holds on to the ball... Shelton will be a steady contributer of big plays for the Wood as he was last week with a sixty yard TD catch... Tucker will continue to punish people on Defense and pick up some tough yards out of the backfield....I look for a great match up between Tucker and Hightower... Both studs in this region...Dollard will be fine once he settles down and gets into a rythum.. and finally, Elliot will be a patential play maker on the offensive side...

The Tigers have definately moved Cavalla O'Neal to his more natural position at WR.

Hightower had 15 tackles against Clarksville....not too bad.

Jake Morris is the QB and he throws and runs very well.

O"Neal, Greer, and Hightower are the receiving threats and they all have tremendous physical ability and therefore big play potential.

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
