Grace is a program on the rise but their not there yet. Boyd's defense is one of the best in 2a they held a very potent CAK offense to only 14 points. Grace probably won't score over 7. With that said 5 years down the road from now Grace could be at the level of the CAK's and Boyd's but it takes awhile they haven't had a football team but for a few years. Grace keeps getting better year after year they will be there one day.

THANK YOU! Our school doesn't have enough money tobuild new bleachers for the away team. We just finished the bleachers on the home side(which sadly still cannot hold our growing school). But anyway stop complaining and bring chairs. Some schools dont even have solid real bleachers. We do the best we can with the little we have.

You would be surprised at how much SP's Quarterback club raises each year and we're a small town public school. Ya'll will see when you come down on the 2nd of November. You just have to work for it. BTW, Boyd built the new visitor side bleachers first .

it seems grace is on the right path to solidifying a great football program. one thing to remember is that you'll have to take facilities criticism with thick skin. for 20+ years, bbs had to take the same with inferior football facilities and its been within the last 3 years that we have made great improvements. you have to start somewhere. and for the fans that are upset that the game isn't at a place that will comfortably hold more fans, remember our situation at bbs. we still have a large crowd of "chair bringers" to our home games. imo, there's nothing wrong here. grace and bbs has great rivalry games and we all should honor that.

so, for grace fans upset that there is criticism about their facilites...you'll have to forget it. its inevitable. for other fans that are upset when they have to play there...get over it. we were there, once too.

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
