Kenwood vs. Northeast

Kenwood's offense is a strange one and very well executed. If the eagles don't get diciplined and prepared it will be a long nite. The boys have to execute the playes in the red zone. This is a Northeast team that may surprize you, but kenwood looks good. Amius is the best athlete in town, and he controls a tempo of a game. Don't think it will be a bad game if the eagles can execute. However, time will tell come friday night.

 

How did Amius' recruiting trip to APSU go this week? Great win for the Govs, and that is what scholorships do to a program. Becker is a beast, and he once played for region 6-5A. Plus another pair of region 6-4A athletes Fletcher and Fredricks show this town has talent that can play at the college level. Plus little Tarrence Holt is a return specialist. Add a receiver as big as Amius, then it will be a pretty fit.

 

Eagles vs. Kenwood will be a fun game to watch. Hopefully it will be a classic match of rivals!

well, last night till game time, honsestly dont know whats going to happen, northeast must play perfect game and be focused, if they are not this could be ugggggly, but i think they will play hard, keep it close to 4th quarter, they seem to have a hard time in the second half, they were only down by 7 to clarksville high, but fell apart at end.

The Jamboree was not a good measuring stick for this game. The Knights did not run the offense they are actually using this year. The Jamboree was an experiment and Northeast scored on an interception off a JV quarterback. The Knights' Defense will show up in this one and expect the offense to keep rolling as long as they do not get overconfident and get cocky. Kenwood should win this one by at least 14, but as stated already, you never know in a rivalry game. Good luck to both teams on Friday.

 

 

As stated on 22 Sep. Kenwood by at least 14. Kenwood 14 Northeast 0 Final. Northeast has improved much since the jamboree. They are gelling as a team and could prove to be a spoiler in their region the rest of the season. Good Luck Eagles.

good job eagles, shocked alot of people. many thought ya'll were going to let down and ya'll showed up. good job to kenwood though, they didnt play their best game, but still won. game could of been a classic, but if you ask me, it was a horrible called game. im not bias for northeast but their were sooo many horrible calls. i saw it least 5 plays that could of been pass interfercence on kenwood, and their line were acting like they were attached to northeast, but in saying that, you cant blame that for northeast losing but it was a factor. but props to both teams, if ne played like that all season they might have some wins, and for kenwood, keep doin what you doin go win region 6! ( not fan of yall knights, but i will give ya'll props. got work to do for the big boys though (mt juliet, chs, etc)

First let me start this off with the definition of the day. "MORON???. A moron is person who is notably stupid or lacking in good judgment. This definition is very fitting and why I recommend we from this point forward demand a change of name for Purpledemon to, you guessed it, Purplemoron.

 

I agree with the Duck. Purplemoron does not seem to ever say anything other than he does not like the Knights. I'm not real sure if he thinks there is a better team in the Region, or if he just likes to get on the board to rant about Kenwood. I did see a comment about being in camp, so I would have to guess Purplemoron is either for CHS or Portland. Regardless, he has no clue how to base his comments on statistical information. It must be rough going through life with all that hatred built up over a single High School Football program. Maybe one day he will actually show what team he has an allegiance too. At least then the Knights or whatever team Purplemoron supports will know which game to get fired up for. Good luck in week 6 to the Knights at their homecoming.

please keep this thread clean. we do not want this thread to be closed. an opinion is just that, an opinion. if you disagree, then do so but keep it clean please. enjoy the good start, but don't ruin it by stooping to someone elses level. in saying so, maybe ne was better than the record shows. the eagles have played 5 teams with winning records, where kenwood has played 3 teams with losing records. the eagles may have been coached well this week in my opinion, and the rival may have set the tone. whatever you feel, eagles left it on the field and walked off exhaused. those boys gave their all, and in doing so i hope they can see they can compete with anyone.

 

nice job knights, make it a home 1st round so the city of clarksville has something to do week one in the playoffs. i will say this is the best diciplined kenwood team i have seen in 10 years. they played hard, stuck together, and did not fold. this will carry over the next few weeks with wins in the win column. we in clarksville are proud of the knights.
