I know I wasn't pleased with mine. PR'd by 4 seconds, but wasn't satisfied. I have a feeling I'll PR again at Steeple.

Our seniors weren't really pleased, but our sophomores seemed happy.

By the way, the rest of Hume Fogg ran too, not just Blitton.

David Lipscomb ran real well at Jesse Owens taking second as a team.

 

Remember. It only takes one bad race from a single runner for a team this year to fall from 1st to 3rd.

People often don't understand the team nature of this sport, and the fact that so many things have to go right in order for a team to fire on all cylinders when it matters--like at State.

 

I had a soccer coach tell me one time that we cross country coaches don't even have to coach--just tell the kids to go run something!

i wouldnt say MLK is falling behing DL. MLK is still way deeper and thats what usually wins titles on november 3rd.

 

it was good to see coniglio back again at JO trying to hold off johnson. TN really showed alabama who was boss this weekend. FRA might have won the bronze had their 4th man been running and DL wrapped up 2nd in a very good silver field. Kroeger looked more like her old self winning the gold girls in low 18s

I read that whole forum thing and my team and I were all talking about it... So if this is just a farce, Matt, please tell me! Did you die? I know that this is completely random and unrelated to the forum, but I think it is a good question to answer how I feel right now (confused and retarded). I am really confused!

Matt is alive and running well. Someone was trying to be a smart ____ and it got turned around on them. Then it just kept growing. He is alive and I think he enjoyed the joke.
